Hello I am Lauren, I am a Reiki Therapist based near the lovely beach of Manly, Queensland. 

I offer energy healing and chakra rebalancing along with any intuitive messages that I receive from my Angels during my Reiki sessions. I truly believe in the “Universal life force energy” - the actual meaning of “Rei” “ki” (Reiki) - and of course the unconditional loving healing energy from my beautiful team of my guardian Angel, Angels, Spirit Guides. 

My Reiki sessions are all about intention...my intention to help others, from MY heart and soul to help YOU rebalance and restore YOUR body, mind and soul.

WHO AM I AND WHAT DO I DO

My name is Lauren Duffy, I got into Reiki because I always felt like I had to help others or “heal” them with touch, whether it was a hand on a shoulder or a long loving hug. I also experienced health conditions, such as glandular fever and chronic fatigue during my early twenties and again in my late thirties and I also had severe anxiety on and off, since I was a child.  I decided to look up energy healing, as I always felt tired and drained and needed more energy. So I found out about Reiki online and it really resonated with me and so I booked my first session and afterwards I felt more calm with my anxiety and more centred and I had more energy. It did not cure my health conditions, it simply helped with the symptoms. I wanted others to feel the same way as I did. So I did my training and all of my certifications and that’s how I came to become the Reiki therapist that I am today x

I have been a professional Reiki Therapist since 2015, however I have been communicating with Angels since 2010. I’m a passionate healer with a loving, nurturing approach. I am dedicated to helping my clients move through a wide range of physical, emotional and spiritual transitions, in the most loving and nurturing way possible.

My treatments are tailored to the needs of each of my clients, to make sure they receive the full benefits of Reiki during their session. Time and again I have seen the beautiful results and the spiritual connections that I have made with my clients from my sessions. I really look forward to meeting you and being part of helping you on your spiritual journey x

If you’ve never visited a professional Reiki Therapist before, you’re bound to have lots of questions or concerns. Below, you’ll find a list of several frequently asked questions from my patients. Connect with me today for more information.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY REIKI SESSION?

Please wear comfortable loose fitting clothes, you will need to take off your shoes and jewellery, (especially earrings and necklaces) it’s preferred but not essential. Please let me know if you are allergic to any essential oils, as I use these during my session. Also please bring your bottle of water, as you need to drink plenty of water after your session. 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?

From your first session, you may not feel anything at all, but a lot of my clients feel deep relaxation or inner peace (this is all normal). Reiki works best on a subconscious level and if you have many layers to shift, e.g. if you are going through a lot of stress, or have had traumatic events in the past. This could take a few sessions before you really feel anything.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER A REIKI SESSION?

After a Reiki session you may experience a feeling of being relaxed or at peace, even possibly a bit light headed (this just means that you need to drink plenty of water and eat something). You may also feel like you need to go to the toilet more than usual or you may experience a headache or even have strange dreams (this doesn’t happen very often). This is all part of your body getting rid of toxins and is all completely normal, even a few days following a session.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN MY REIKI SESSIONS

REIKI HEALING

This is a traditional Japanese style of assisting in healing the body. Using different hand positions, the Reiki Therapist will place their hands on or above your body. The word  “Rei” “Ki” means “Universal life force energy” it is not to be used to replace medical treatment. Reiki rebalances the whole person and helps activate your natural healing abilities, as well as restoring your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

CHAKRA REBALANCING 

During your Reiki session, you will receive chakra rebalancing. Everyone experiences imbalances of stress at some point in their lives. Whether it be mental, physical or even energetically. These all effect our chakras, which become out of balance and when this happens, in turn it can effect our digestive system, by giving us tummy aches, constipation or headaches, even fatigue and sometimes sinus infections or certain aches and pains. Note: always check with your Doctor with any of these symptoms.
